Introduction

The District of Mission Department of Parks, Recreation & Culture and Mission School District #75 are proud to offer Club KIDS recreation.

Club KIDS (CK) is a recreation program conveniently offering supervised leisure activities to kids at their school, rather than having kids travel to the Leisure Centre. Due to the convenient time and location, CK is used by many parents as an ALTERNATIVE to daycare, babysitters, or being home alone.

Over 9000 kids have attended the CK program since its inception in 1992!

What kind of recreational activities do the kids do?

Physical activities:

  • Cooperative games
  • Competitive sports
  • FREE weekly swimming and/or skating at the Mission Leisure Centre during program time!
  • (early fall and spring only)

Creative activities:

  • Arts & crafts
  • Drama
  • Science projects
  • Nature explorations
  • Board Games & Puzzles

Special Guests and Field Trips!!

Kids are encouraged to pre-plan activity ideas - thus the name Club KIDS - Kids' Ideas Developing Skills!
